Colour Forge Spray Chart
All 38 Colourforge paints we track, filterable by range and type — and searchable by colour: pick one and the whole chart reorders by how close each pot is. Click any swatch for its colour details and cross-brand matches, or match a paint to another brand.
The Colour Forge make one thing and make it in one format: aerosol spray primer, in a can twice the size of the hobby standard, mixed and filled in the United Kingdom. There are no pots and no dropper bottles in the range at all — every colour on this chart is a 500ml can, which is why it reads as a spray chart rather than a paint chart.
The appeal is a finished basecoat straight out of the tin. Priming in the colour you were going to paint anyway skips the first brush stage on a whole unit, and the range is built for that: greens, greys, bones and reds chosen for wargaming subjects rather than a colour wheel, plus three metallics and a matt and satin clear coat. If you are wondering which Citadel spray a given can stands in for, our own measured comparison is in the [best spray primer for miniatures](/guides/best-spray-primer-for-miniatures) guide — and it is our measurement, not a manufacturer equivalence.
