Works out at £2.42 per paint before counting the extras (1x warpaints fanatic brush-on primer 18ml, 1x miniature, 1x painting guide, 1x starter brush).
Army Painter's beginner box for the Warpaints Fanatic range: ten paints plus a brush-on primer, a starter brush, a beginner-friendly painting guide and a miniature to practise on.
The colours are the classic teaching palette - Matt Black and Matt White, Pure Red, Ultramarine Blue, Daemonic Yellow, Greenskin, Leather Brown, Plate Mail Metal and Greedy Gold for metal, and a Strong Tone wash for instant shading.
At £25.83 all-in it's one of the few sets here where you can open the box owning nothing and finish a painted miniature the same afternoon.
Best for: someone painting their first ever miniature who needs the primer and brush as much as the paint.
