Merlin's Miniatures code: 5% off; minimum basket between £16.12 (did not qualify) and £20.15 (did).
Works out at £2.46 per paint before counting the extras (1x painting guide).
Ten metallics from Army Painter's Warpaints Fanatic range, spanning most of the jewellery box: Shining Silver and Plate Mail Metal, Bright and Greedy Gold, True and Red Copper, Weapon Bronze, dark Rough Iron, Gun Metal, and a blue-shifted Cobalt Metal for colder armour.
These are aluminium-flake acrylics with fine, even particles, so they cover well and keep their shine when washed over. A short painting guide comes in the box.
At £2.96 a pot it's a cheap way to add a complete metal palette in one go rather than pot by pot.
Best for: bolting a full set of metallics onto an existing collection of ordinary colours.
