Merlin's Miniatures code: 5% off; minimum basket between £16.12 (did not qualify) and £20.15 (did).
Works out at £3.04 per paint before counting the extras (1x basecoating brush, 1x painting guide).
The cheapest way into Speedpaints: ten bottles of Army Painter's one-coat paint with a basecoating brush and a short painting guide in the box.
The ten are chosen to cover a typical fantasy figure - Grim Black and Pallid Bone at the ends, Slaughter Red and Satchel Brown, Beowulf Blue, Purple Swarm, Zealot Yellow, Orc Skin for greenskins, Peachy Flesh for faces, and Broadsword Silver as the lone metallic.
Oddly, at £3.04 per bottle it's also the lowest per-pot price of any Speedpaint box, so you lose nothing by starting small.
Best for: finding out whether one-coat painting suits you before spending real money on the bigger sets.
Every Paint in the Set
