Frostgrave's designer moves the same warband skirmish to a chain of haunted tropical islands.
Ghost Archipelago takes the Frostgrave formula - a spellcaster, an apprentice and a handful of hired soldiers - and sets it among ruined temples and jungle islands instead of a frozen city, searching for a living treasure rather than looted magic. The warband size and campaign structure carry across unchanged, so a Frostgrave player finds the rules and the feel immediately familiar. The island setting gives a painter a different palette to Frostgrave's cold ruins - jungle greens, weathered stone and tropical cloth rather than snow and frost - with the same small model count that makes it realistic to finish every figure in a warband to a high standard rather than rushing them.
On the table: The same small-warband, persistent-campaign skirmish as Frostgrave, reset to a tropical island setting.
