Oathmark Halflings

The smallest kingdom in Oathmark, a rustic, homely army built around slings and stubborn militia.

Halflings are the lightest touch of any Oathmark race: small, sturdy folk who go to war reluctantly and look it, with slingers and militia infantry standing in for professional soldiers. It's the smallest range of the seven kingdoms on this page, which suits a collector after a modest, characterful force rather than a huge army. The appeal for a painter is exactly that homeliness - muted, practical clothing colours rather than heraldry or heavy armour, with the fun coming from small character touches rather than a bold scheme.

On the table: A small, lightly armed kingdom that leans on missile fire and numbers rather than any real strength in melee.
