Oathmark Goblins

Small, numerous and crudely armed - a horde kingdom that wins by weight of bodies rather than quality.

Goblins are Oathmark's cheapest, most plentiful troop type: ragged ranks of spearmen and archers armed with whatever their kingdom could scrape together, backed by crude war machines and the odd larger creature bullied into fighting alongside them. A goblin force is built to be fielded in bulk rather than as a handful of elite units. That makes them a genuine batch-painting exercise - dozens of small, simple models rather than a few large ones - so most painters settle on a fast two- or three-colour scheme for skin and rags and save any real detail work for the war machines and characters leading them.

On the table: A cheap, numerous horde that wins through sheer weight of bodies rather than the quality of any individual model.
