Oathmark Dwarfs

Stout, heavily armoured infantry who hold the centre while everyone else manoeuvres around them.

Dwarfs in Oathmark are the stubborn core of any army that fields them: dense ranks of axe- and hammer-armed infantry in heavy armour, backed by war machines and the occasional mounted contingent. They're built to stand rather than move, and their kingdoms mix freely with any other Oathmark race that needs a wall to hide behind. The range rewards a painter who likes metal and beards more than cloth. Armour plates give large, forgiving surfaces for a bold metallic scheme, and the beards are a chance to pick a strong accent colour that ties a whole regiment together without much extra work.

On the table: Slow, heavily armoured infantry that wins by holding ground rather than manoeuvring for it.
