The periods no ruleset here covers

Historical Miniatures

Most of the historical kits we price are filed under the rules for their period — Napoleonics under Black Powder, Romans under Hail Caesar, the Second World War under Bolt Action — so every maker for one period sits on one page. This page holds the rest: the First World War, and a few pieces that fit any period.

Periods

Each page lists every kit we can price for that period, cheapest shop first.

Where the other periods are

Historical wargamers buy by period, not by maker: a Napoleonic army is Perry, Victrix and Warlord figures side by side. So we file historical kits under the rules that cover their period, whoever made them — Black Powder for the horse-and-musket wars, Hail Caesar for the ancient and medieval world, Pike & Shotte for the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, Bolt Action for the Second World War.

What is left here is what none of those covers: First World War infantry and the Arab Revolt, and general pieces such as horses and farm animals that belong in any period.

What we list, and from where

Every kit here is priced by a single UK shop, SnM Stuff. The number on each card is that shop's checked price in pounds; when another shop we compare stocks these kits, its prices join these.

Prices were last checked 25 Sep and can change — the retailer's own page always has the final say. Affiliate links — how we make money.
