The sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, priced
Pike & Shotte is Warlord Games' rules for battles of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries — pike blocks and early musketeers, the wars of religion, the English Civil Wars and the samurai era in Japan — fought in 28mm with large units rather than a skirmish handful. It's the middle instalment of Warlord's big-battle family, between Hail Caesar's ancients and Black Powder's Napoleonic era, and like both it takes anyone's figures rather than one maker's range. Below is every kit we can price for it, filed by war.
Each page lists every kit we can price for that war, cheapest shop first.
The greyed names have no page yet — an army gets one once we can price a box of it or five of its kits, so the list fills in with the catalogue rather than by hand.

Pike & Shotte is Warlord Games' rules for the era when blocks of pikemen and musketeers fought side by side: the Italian Wars, the Thirty Years War, the English Civil Wars, and — because the rules stretch to cover it — the samurai conflicts of the same century in Japan. As with Black Powder and Hail Caesar, it is played with anyone's figures, and we file kits by war rather than by maker.
A first Pike & Shotte force is usually a boxed pike-and-shot regiment or two, built out with cavalry and commanders as the army grows. Where a shop we compare stocks one, an Epic Battles set is the faster route to a whole wing of an army in one box.
Every kit here is one a shop we compare actually sells, at the price that shop was charging when we last checked it. Coverage of this period is thinner than Black Powder or Hail Caesar's, so several wars still show as grey names in the strip above — that is a gap in what our partners stock, not in the period.
Prices were last checked 25 Sep and can change — the retailer's own page always has the final say. Affiliate links — how we make money.
