An odd but genuinely useful box: alongside colours like Cork Brown, Mahogany Brown, Deep Sky Blue, Ochre Brown and Dark Sea Grey it carries gloss, satin and matt varnishes, Gloss White and Glossy Black, plus Gold and Silver - as much a finishing kit as a paint set.
The three varnishes alone cover sealing, dipping-style shading prep and picking out gems or wet effects, jobs most paint sets ignore entirely.
