Coloured metallics are a corner most paint ranges ignore, and this Green Stuff World set is six of them - no golds or steels, just anodised candy-bright shades: Neptunus Blue, Aqua Turquoise, Sirenscale Green, Caesar Red, Orchid Purple and Persian Violet.
They're water-based acrylics from GSW's Metal Color line, with fine pigment, strong coverage and quick drying, so they behave like normal paints that happen to shimmer.
£2.84 a pot is reasonable for effect paints you'd struggle to mix yourself.
Best for: beetle carapaces, sci-fi armour and gemstones - anything that wants metallic shine in a colour metal doesn't naturally come in.
