In the age of the Heresy the knight houses were still bound by oath to the Imperium, and many broke that oath. This is the 30th millennium version of the walkers: older patterns, heavier chassis, and the fast Cerastus knights that see little use in the later setting. As a collection it takes up very little shelf space and a great deal of hobby time. Each model is a full evening's assembly and considerably more painting, with vast armour plates begging for household heraldry, freehand and hard-edged camouflage. It works as a standalone force or as the heavy support element for a Legiones Astartes or Solar Auxilia army you already own.

On the table: Very few models, each enormous - long reach, heavy armour, and no ability to absorb losses.
