The most beatable search result of the ten shelves surveyed, and the one where the buyer question is genuinely misunderstood. Plastic cement is not glue at all — it is a solvent that melts two pieces of polystyrene into one, which is why it welds a Citadel or Tamiya sprue beautifully and does absolutely nothing to resin, metal or a 3D print. Superglue holds those. PVA holds sand and flock to a base and nothing structural. Buying the wrong one is the commonest first-model mistake in the hobby.

The Honest Verdict

Cheapest shelf here by some distance, and the one most worth getting right: match the glue to the material and almost every joint problem disappears. Thin cements flow into a closed seam by capillary action and are the ones experienced modellers reach for; thick tube cement is for gap-filling, not for detail.
