Orks are the most personality-driven army in Warhammer 40,000. Boyz in mobs, Nobz with oversized weapons, buggies and battlewagons bolted together from scrap, and stompas that should not function. Nothing matches and nothing is meant to. They are the best faction in the game for conversion and kitbashing, because there is no wrong way to build one. Painting them is quick - green skin batch paints beautifully with a shade-first method, and vehicles are an excuse to practise rust, chipping and hand-painted graffiti. Clan colours give you a framework if you want one. High model count, low stress, and the army improves the more scrap you glue to it.
On the table: A horde-and-melee army that wins by numbers and momentum, with unreliable but plentiful firepower.
