Cannibal ghouls who believe themselves to be a chivalric court, and fight with the conviction of the deluded.
This is the most darkly funny faction in Age of Sigmar. A Flesh-eater army is a swarm of feral ghouls led by an Abhorrant king who is convinced he rules a glittering kingdom - and his followers see it the same way. Terrorgheists and Varghulfs serve as the court's monsters. As a project it splits neatly: a large number of simple, sinewy ghoul bodies that batch paint quickly, and a handful of huge, spectacular monsters to spend real time on. Pale skin and dirty bone dominate, so it is a good army for learning to make a limited palette interesting. Many collectors paint a hint of the delusion in - a scrap of tattered heraldry that the ghoul thinks is a banner.
On the table: A horde army with monster support: masses of cheap bodies that keep coming, anchored by very large centrepieces.
